  Good looking watch

  Just got this watch in 2 days from the day i purchased it. The seller is from Singapore and free shipping. The watch is outstanding, very nicely built. sturdy, light and of course made in japan. I let my friend judged it because we are fond of watches and he is amazed how seiko made this one. Contemporary yet classic looking watch. Nice to wear in formal or casual. The automatic movement is smooth. I made this comment eventhough i just have it in 2 days. But i believe this watch will last for a long time. Automatic 21 jewel that seiko have been doing for many many years. Above all the price i got is $ 135.00. Very cheap for a very good looking quality watch.   Perfect wings for a toddler's fairy costume

  These wings are the perfect size for a toddler or young child. Our 2-1/2-year-old little girl used them for a fairy costume this past Halloween and they were exactly what we were looking for. The wings are well made and the jewels are a nice touch. The wings can be bent so that the wings stand away from the body offering a more dramatic and dynamic appearance, unlike other wings which are less malleable. The elastics for wearing the wings were comfortable. Our little one kept them on for hours. The only minor fix we had to make was to the length of the elastics. They were a little loose so we temporarily knotted them down to size.   Cute, but not as described

  The description for these wings says they are 21". Well, they're just under 18". They're really pretty, but I'm now pondering whether I should buy a different set of wings that is bigger or just go ahead and wear these with my Halloween costume.   An Alright Product.

  My daughter was looking for a cheap iPod touch case. She found this, and loved the design, so she bought it. When it arrived at our house, the first thing that she noticed was an odd hole. You see, near the top of the case, next to the front-side camera hole, was another hole, the same size as the camera hole. There is absolutely no purpose for this hole, which I found strange. Another downside to this case is that the paint isn't too sturdy. The design occasionally peels off in places, revealing the underneath color of the cover, which is silver. However, the pros of this product was that it was a low price, $5 when I bought it, reasonable shipping time, and has an appealing look.   It looks really cool when you first get it but after about 2 weeks the paint on the cover (the stripped parts) starts to come off and it looks really dumb because not all the paint comes off. there are soooooo many other cases out there don't choose this one.   DO NOT BUY THIS....

  This case is terrible. The idea of having a case is to protect you iPod, not completely ruin it. It has completely worn off the backing of my iPod. My brand new iPod that I spent hard earned money on. Basically, if you plan on buying this, plan on having to pay for a new iPod in the near future.   It's not 30x

  This is a good little magnifier at a terrific price, but it is not 30x, and I don't know why it says it is. I have two other loupes, one that's 10x, and one that has both 15x and 20x, and this one seems to magnify a little better than the 10x. So, if you need high power, this isn't the magnifier you want.   For the money, the is a fairly decent magnifying glass. Don't really expect it to be thirty power, though. It is more or less ten power as far as I can figure by comparing it to several expensive Hastings triplets I own.Where they got the "approximately 30x" from is anyone's guess unless they were trying to rate the thing by area magnification as opposed to linear magnification. In this case they got the formula wrong.Magnifiers are usually rate linearly, in that a 2x magnifier should make a one inch line appear two inches. This is the same as binoculars and other magnifying instruments though there is some kind of convention, I believe, of a standard ten inches with reading glass magnifiers.Whatever--the thing does have glass lenses as far as I can tell and it comes in a nifty little plastic box.   After serching for a long time and ordering several patterns, I finally selected Lenox Vintage Jewel. I'll review them all here1. Wedgwood Vera Wang Grosgrain. I really loved the pattern, and wanted to go with the Wedgwood brand because I inherited an old Wedgwood china service that I love. But, unfortunately the salad fork had about an inch of the pattern totally missing. I didn't re-order because for the high price I thought such an obvious defect shouldn't have made it to a customer.2. Wedgwood Knightsbridge. This pattern was similar to the Vera Wang Grosgrain-- not quite as modern-- but nice and much less expensive, so I decided to give Wedgwood another chance. The spoon had the same problem as the Grosgrain salad fork! This time only 1/2 inch of the pattern was missing. And, maybe not a deal breaker, but irratating was that markings on the back of the pieces were mis-aligned.   A great voice finds variety

  I have been a Jewel fan since her first album, and this new album is definitely my favorite of her's thus far. The first cd had only a few tracks which stuck out to me really well and the second cd's songs, though enjoyable, all ran together in a sortof sappy soup. THIS WAY however has a myriad of different styles and each stands out on its own.1. Standing Still: the first single, as you probably know...i like this song, it's very catchy and fun2. Jesus Loves You: the lyrics are thought-provoking but this song doesn't do much for me..3. Everybody Needs someone Sometime: This is just a fun song about finding love, even if you are "a drip of a man" or "no spring chicken"...one of her off-beat, story telling songs4. Break Me: back to the slow, light song reminiscent of SPIRIT. It's light but sensual at the same time5.   Ever since I heard Jewel's debut album, I have been waiting for her to release something that you could put on and enjoy all the way through. After a yawn of a sophomore album, she did it.On this album, Jewel not only lightened up (as many have already noted), she finally utilized her biggest strength - her powerful voice. Very rarely on this album do you hear her whisper over her guitar. She belts out these songs beautifully, allowing her emotion to carry the album - which, in my opinion, was the missing ingredient in her other two releases.This album has many different sounds on it, keeping the listener interested all the way through. There is some country twang in Everybody Needs Somebody Sometime and Till We Run Out of Road, a fun pop sound to Standing Still and Serve the Ego, and her wonderful folk sound in Jesus Loves Me.   Harder Jewel

  Jewel has a little harder edge to her sound for her third album, This Way. That's not to say she has abandoned her elemental folk sound, it's just been kicked up with a rock edge. The first single, "Standing Still" is a great example of the new sound as is the title track. "Love Me, Just Leave Me Alone" has a 70's Faces riff and is easily the most rocking Jewel has ever gotten. But she doesn't completely change her sound as "Break Me" is classic Jewel. It is a stark ballad in the vein of a "Foolish Games" and the best song on the album, "I Won't Walk Away" is awash in strings and pianos and the lyrics are poignant and deep. 3/5 Thomas Magnum (NJ, USA) - See all my reviews, November 13, 2001
