  The Unsmudgeable

  When Max Factor moved its marketing out of the US and stopped producing its long-lasting Lashfinity, I was damn near inconsolable. Okay, maybe not inconsolable but I was colorless. In fact, I am always colorless. Being a splinter group of Caucasian (not my choice, BTW) I can best be described as a Pale Blue Person. Other than some annoyingly placed, unbleachable freckles, some "eh?" brown eyebrows and teeny green eyes, I am practically transparent. Without makeup, my lips are the exact same color as my fish-belly body. It's not pretty and I am aware how much help I really need.This stuff does not smudge even after a very quick pre-evening out splash of water, cleanses off entirely with a bit of remover. It has neither too much fiber or texture. It's dry enough to go on smoothly and densely colored enough not to require multiple coats.   Covergirl 24 hour Lashblast Mascara

  **I am adding to this review** I am a HUGE fan of this mascara and have been on a mad search to stock up on it because everytime I like something, they discontinue it, just the way my luck is. I am updating this review because I felt it necessary to state how much of a curl this mascara holds. I actually shed some tears yesterday and the mascara did not run nor did I lose my curl. I am VERY impressed with this mascara and will be on the mad hunt to stock up on it.I normally do not write reviews but I had to on this product. I love it, and I pray that Covergirl does not discontinue it. When they say 24 hours, they mean it. I'm half Hispanic/half Caucasian and have NO curl what so ever to my lashes so I have to curl them and then usually use an expensive department store (Lancôme or Urban Decay) waterproof mascara to get the curl to hold.   smudge-o-rama

  I'm that 30-something year old still looking for the perfect mascara, and this is NOT IT.Was hopeful with the name "24 Hour", but one hour after applying it (on a cool day that didn't get above 60F) I was shocked to catch my reflection of dark smudge semi circles under my eyes. How embarrassing!Did the classy move of spit-on-finger to remove the smudge circles, only to see them follow my paranoia and come back every time I obsessively checked my reflection the whole work day.Waste of money.   I was looking for a reliable yet inexpensive watch. I settled on the 3 Casio watches that look like this and chose this one of the three. There's the white faced, the black faced, and this one is the yellow faced w/24 hour numbering. (some pictures of this are over exposed. The face is what I'd call a yellowish wheat color. Quite nice.) All three likely have the same internal mechanism. My watch was unexpectedly light in weight which is a huge bonus in my book.The band was cheap as hell, but I chose the "Watch Band Genuine Leather 16mm Black Classical Vegetable oil treated durable double stitched and padded with gold plated buckle" sold by Watchmaterial here on Amazon. Now I have a nice watch that looks like $1-200 bucks, and I'm out $20.So, buy one of these el cheapo Casio watches, buy a 16mm (width) watch band to replace the really cheap band Casio sells with these, and you'll look like $1-200 also.   Very Sharp Watch!

  I love the look of this watch. I needed $6.00 more for a free shipping offer and I picked this watch.Two things:This watch is much smaller in diameter than it looks on the Amazon pages.The entire watch is 35mm in diameter compared to 40-50mm in most watches.Second, the watch arrived with a dead battery.   I had been under a rock (okay, driving a big truck all over 48 states) since 2002, and had never seen a single episode of "24" until I retired recently. I did not miss TV during those years, but I heard a lot of commentary about "24", so I decided to check it out. What.a.ride!   Great Show, Glad I Watched It!

  I didn't really notice "24" until it's last season. I heard about it before, but never really bothered to try and watching it until it's last season and was surprised that it was actually a decent show.I then noticed that seasons 1-7 were availible for Prime for free, which allowed me to watch every season on amazon, which took a few months watching a few episodes each week.Kiefer Sutherland plays Jack Bauer, the main character, who seems to have everything go wrong at the wrong moments, somewhat reminds me of Bruce Willis in Die Hard. Many things in this series such as the circumstances and outcomes are not the most realistic scenarios. If you are looking for a realistic type show, this is not for you.Each season has many twists in its story, while some more obvious than others. As of this review I have finished all seasons of "24", and have enjoyed watching Jack Bauer's experiences throughout the series.While I am not a die hard 24... 5/5 J.   Well, I have maybe 30 books about astral projection, and I am always seeking something new about this. This book has nothing really new, except, maybe, his "secret technique". I think that anyone that has some experience in astral projection already discovered this technique alone, but the fact is it don't appears directly in the books, and it is maybe the more efficient way. I use the same procedure than the author, and after you left the body the first time ( in that day), you can repeat it in a non-stop way any time you have a unwanted return to the body. Sometimes I have ten consecutive projections in the same morning, only stopping to register them if something important happened. I agreed with the author: the books about astral projection have so much information that sometimes we have difficulty to know how begin. It doesn't get you too confused with a ton of details, but gives you more than you need to know to make a start of it. There are even some short-cut techniques that the author found out about on his own through practice.You also get a good run-down on the various inhabitants of the astral planes and what to watch out for, ie how to react to the more unsavory types.   Years ago I remember watching a movie with Shirley Maclaine in it called "Out On a Limb". The movie delt with astral projection and I found it interesting. When I saw this book I thought I would pick it up to see what all the fuss was about.Although I wonder if someone can actually Astral Project in 24 hours this book provides a great overview of the process and is a great addition to anyones library.The book is broken up into ten easy to read chapters giving the basics of astral projection and is a quick read. If your just starting out this will be a great book to start the process and give you a good overview of the process. If you are more advanced the book may not help you but it would still make a great addition to your collection with which to refer back to the basics.   This cream is amazing! I am turning 30 in a couple of months and wanted to really start to invest in high-quality skin care (I've been using coconut oil on my face mostly). At a recent holiday shopping jaunt to Costco, I saw this stuff and read the label. Several things stuck out to me: 1.) it's paraben-free, 2.) it's not tested on animals, and 3.) it's suitable for vegans. As a vegan, this was awesome to see, because it doesn't happen frequently that something in a store like Costco is *marketed* as vegan. I grabbed a jar immediately and crossed my fingers that it would be nice. IT IS!! I tried it the first night I had it after washing off my makeup, and oh my gosh, my skin felt radiant!   Though it was written 90 years ago, "How To Live" addresses the inadequacies, frustrations, disappointments of people today in all walks of life and it does so with humor and wisdom.   An Excellent Book on Time Management

  Arnold Bennett's book "How to Live on 24 Hours a Day" is an excellent piece of classic work. Arnold Bennett (for those of you who don't know) was a popular English novelist in the late 1800's and early 1900's.This book contains timeless advice about squeezing the most out of everyday life. Everything from training your brain to concentrate to living happily is discussed in full.The book is short enough to be read in an hour or two (around 80 pages in length), and contains sufficient humor and conversational tone to make the read extremely enjoyable.If you're looking for practical life advice to help improve your daily quality of life, you will find no better book than this.Also: I read this book on the Kindle, and it was rendered perfectly.   I ordered this 24 hour clock to use in my ham radio room, so I can set it to UTC (aka GMT, Zulu Time) for logging and contesting purposes.   Splendid endurance support for those whose work life is out of balance

  I've been using this product for about a year, purchasing it from the supermarket until now. It is all that it is advertised. The wealth of B vitamins that it contains will give you a noticeable lift within about 5 to 10 minutes. If you're at total burnout and exhaustion, it's only going to keep you going for about two to three hours at a shot, and I generally down the entire bottle at one sitting in those instances. It's been a lifesaver, and a lot healthier than coffee or so-called energy drinks, when you work-life is not so much in work-life-balance. 5/5 J.
