  Good for the money

  Bought two of them to store nuts & bolts. No way could I have more than 60 kinds of fasteners. Right. Filled both up and still have a bunch of small cardboard boxes "unfiled". So you may want to count all your stuff first to see how much space you really need.The cabinets are fairly lightweight, can tip over, so backing them up to a wall or something solid will help. And (!) the drawers have a small hole near the back. For most things, not a problem, but a #2 screw can fall through to whatever is below. Not sure why the hole is there, a piece of clear tape fixes it. You get some dividers with each cabinet, but unless you glue them in, they can work their way up a bit and small things will slide under.Arrived in good shape, nothing broken, prompt delivery, exactly as described.   Unbelievable (but not in a good way)

  Bought 2 of the 30 drawer units on Xmas eve to store Lego parts in for grandson's gift. Upon opening, found there were only a few drawer dividers and a note telling the customer where to order the rest! So, I spent Xmas eve making dividers. (To put it euphemistically) Total chicken-poop!! Also, several drawer stops came "pre-broken" but considering the "quality" more are sure to follow.What really irked me was the company has an American address!   Drawers are not really stirdy...

  I got one of these for free from my husband's job a long time ago (different brand), bc they were going to throw it away, so after purchasing this I was a bit disappointed. The one my husband gave me is very stirdy, and the drawers stay in, unlike this one. It's a good one for the price, so as it's said "You get what you pay for." I use it to store my hair accessories, and it works fine for that. I find the drawers to be too narrow for some things, but for most things it's fine.   Cleans up the clutter!

  I have one of the 4 shelf utility cabinets and two of the two shelf base cabinets. I used these to replace open shelving which looked incredibly cluttered at all times. These make for a much cleaner, neater, look!These seem to be quite sturdy. Assembly was not difficult. No tools needed.   It's a simple 3 level shelf with doors made awesome because it goes with the drawer and cabinet of the same series. It was easy to put together and the shelves can be moved around. I've used mine for almost a year and never had a problem. I own the entire series and am very glad to have bought them, mostly because they go together like legos and hold alot of stuff. They have yet to break down or otherwise disappoint me. Their only con is they can be very difficult to maneuver around once they have stuff on/in them.   the good, the bad, and the ugly...

  This would've been a 5 star review, right up until I finished attaching the doors...The Good:Very easy to assembly (accept the doors...) It job should take between 30-40 minutesNice finishing touches that you'd expect from Closetmaid (like covers for the exposed fasteners and a good bracket to secure the unit to the wall)The Bad & the Ugly:The doors leave a 3/4 of an inch gap down the middle. I thought I put the thing together wrong it looked so bad!I corrected their bad design by putting two thin washers between the hinge and the side and replacing their screws with some slightly longer ones. I was really annoyed that a 30 min job turned into a couple hours of realizing I didn't mess the thing up, working out a solution, and rooting around for the right parts.When assembling the doors, it was hard to support and screw them in a the same time.   flimsy, nightmarish assembly

  This product is held together almost entirely with glued wood dowels. As a result, the only stability this product gets is from the cardboard backer panel. In addition, pounding in the dowels correctly will take some practice, since it is quite easy to underdo or overdo.   Don't expect too much and you'll be OK

  The plastic was slightly more flimsy than I expected, so even though it assembled in under ten minutes, there were places where things did not seal as tightly as one might like. It will certainly do the job I want it to do, and the price was right compared with other, similar items. If you are thinking of buying the tall version of this, I would think twice.   Beats Rubbermaid's junk by a long shot

  I read the reviews on Rubbermaid storage and sure glad I did buy that junk. This is made pretty good. It has a foot latch on the bottom and a place for a lock on the top of the doors. I'm not sure yet if anyone makes a lock that will fit it though. Ordinary padlocks won't work. You may be able to find a long hasp lock that will fit. I have two split rings and a small lock on it right now. Not much security but it keeps honest people out. I have it on my newly built patio and I attached 2 X 6's to the wall and screwed the cabinet to them. So at least someone can't walk away with it.You need to get some small screws and nuts to hold it together. It pretty flimsy but is okay when you add your own screws. Nothing like Rubbermaids junk though. There are no black holes or other items in the nightmare reviews like those on Rubbermaid. I'm an aerospace design engineer so I see plenty of design features that could be better.   We do love the closetmaid stackable units, but the doors on this unit are not supported well. Within 1-2 weeks both doors had fallen off from use. Now these are in my 3 year old sons room, so he might not be gentle when opening them, but they shouldn't have broken that quickly. The unit itself is fine though. We have bought two more of these since then, but we didn't install the doors.   Get what you pay for

  This is not a bad item but you get what you pay for. I'm living in Germany right now and storage is lack-thereof here. I purchased these in a local store and it works well for what I need it for (as an extra pantry). I plan to buy another since they are stackable.The only real downsides for me were that the laminate can become easily chipped. As I was putting it together a small corner was already broken off and another piece went as I was joining boards. Both managed to be in places that are hideable. Also the holes for the magnetic pieces were not drilled in the doors. Don't know if this is how they come or if it was a factory line miss/defect.All in all it serves its basic purpose and I will continue buying these Closetmaid products.   Being that the product description is for wood/wood veneers, I was expecting something a lot cheaper in feel than we actually got out of the it, especially for the price. The piece feels weighted, and heavy, the glass doors open and close nicely, and the finish looks fantastic - not cheap or plastic at all. Would highly recommend, only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it isn't actually solid wood.   I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. I bought this cabinet for my guest bathroom, and I have to say, it looks really nice. You would never know I only paid $128 for it. It was a breeze to put together for someone who is used to putting together furniture, took about 20 minutes. One reviewer mentioned stickers on the glass, but there where no stickers on my glass pieces to mess with, so maybe they've stopped doing that? Anyhow, it's a nice, solid piece, doesn't look cheap, and does in fact resemble real wood.   Love this cabinet

  When I was redoing my bathroom, I searched everywhere for a new cabinet. I found this one and instantly loved it. I didn't want anything too big and this one seemed to fit the dimensions I needed. It came in a flat box, in several pieces. However, I had it together, by myself, with my 4 kids at home in about 1.5 hours. I took my time and followed the directions exactly. The directions are not written, they have pictures, but I think it was pretty much self explanatory. I loved that the only tool I needed was a screwdriver. I had more than enough glue, and didn't have any issues with the cam locks. The only issue I did have was that 2 of the covers for the cam locks would not stay in. So, I put some glue on them. Problem solved. The inside holds much more than I thought it would. The bottom shelf currently is holding 16 full size shampoo bottles (12 - 20 oz. each).   Good value for the price at first, but materials not bathroom friendly in the long run.

  This cabinet took about 2 and a half hours to build. Some glue was involved. Not bad looking for the price. I think I bought it for around $90 bucks on sale. I can't comment on durability at the moment, but I will update this after a few months of use.Edit: About a month after purchasing, I spilled some shampoo/lotion or face wash (not sure) on the top of the cabinet. When wiping it off, it seemed to take some of the paint/luster out of the surface. So I'd have to say that I'm not impressed with the quality/durability of the materials thus far.   Package needs to be corrected apparently

  My first receipt of this item proved a no go. One of the doors was cracked with a huge chunk sticking up where someone apparently laid something on the box. Thank goodness for Amazon no hassle return. A new one was immediately shipped out. Well, that one arrived with a piece broken as well due to poor packaging. However, this piece I could fix myself with a little wood glue. I had waited so long to find the piece that I wanted in my back entry way that I didn't want to send another one back.Easy to put together for the most part. I still have two screws that I haven't put in yet into the top of the cabinet as I cannot figure out how they go in. One of the doors was cracked with a huge chunk sticking up where someone apparently laid something on the box. Thank goodness for Amazon no hassle return. A new one was immediately shipped out. Well, that one arrived with a piece broken as well due to poor packaging. However, this piece I could fix myself with a little wood glue. I had waited so long to find the piece that I wanted in my back entry way that I didn't want to send another one back.Easy to put together for the most part. I still have two screws that I haven't put in yet into the top of the cabinet as I cannot figure out how they go in. Since it is out of the way and only used to hide tools in when I come in from the barn, it works.It's definitely not top of the line but it is worth what you pay for it, especially with free shipping.   this product is rather flimsy and not worth the amount i paid for it. the sides are cardboard, the back is cardboard. it works for me merely because it is in an alcove and i needed these dimensions to fit the space. because it fits, only the front is seen. assembly was so/so, meaning it was a two person undertaking. i wouldn't say don't purchase it just know the front is the best part. the frame is wood, the top and doors are wood, the shelves are wood. but the sides and back are merely cardboard and not attractive standing alone on a wall. like i stated it works in an alcove.this item was purchased through amazon.com. 2/5 Francesca - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)   Just what I was looking for!

  We were looking for a cabinet for over our toilet in our half bath. We have a pedestal sink so there is no storage in the bathroom at all. We had bought a really cheap cabinet a couple years ago but we wanted to upgrade it to something better quality. We were very disappointed at the choices we saw at the home improvement stores. Many were pretty expensive and still felt really cheap. I'm glad I finally found this cabinet - it was just what I was looking for!Pros:- Nice style- Quality construction- Easy to assemble and hang- Plenty big enough to fit all the basicsCons:- A little skinnier shaped than I expected- Included wall anchors were not the best - we replaced with some higher quality ones.I'm going to post some pictures of our cabinet, but I thought I'd list what we have in it right now to give you an idea of size.
