  So far so good!

  Bought this watch for daughter for Christmas. Got it for her to use when running to be able to track herself when not on a timed run.The watch is good looking (she loves purple) and functional. The buttons are a little small for my large fingers, but she seems to have no problems. The band is rubber/plastic and should hold up well and she said is comfortable.I was looking for an inexpensive watch for her with a stop watch function and was water/sweat proof. This seems to fit the bill. Timex makes more expensive watches if you need more functions.   Great watch for a young lady. Has indiglo back light.

  I ordered this Timex in purple for my 10 year old daughter. She adores the vivid color of the wrist strap. The digital time on the watch is easy to see and there are several different options for stop watch functions and such. There is an indiglo feature on it, where with a push of a button a bright green/blue back-light comes on, letting you see the time in the dark. The light has a self-timer and goes off on its own after a few seconds.The wrist strap easily fits an array of wrist sizes. I tried it on and it fits my adult (women's sized) wrist, but also fits my daughters 10 year old pre-teen sized write.Setting the time is best done by an adult, as there are several buttons and it could be a bit tricky for kids.My daughter is quite hard on things, constantly playing outside with friends and coming home a mess every day.   Difficult!

  This is an attractive watch with nice features. The display is large and clear. However, it is extremely hard to set. I had to go on several websites to find suggestions on how to use the features, as the little instruction sheet provided with the watch had incorrect information on it. In reality, there are many versions of the 1440 sports watch and none of them operate in the same way!   better than your basic stopwatch

  This watch is true to color, and has fairly standard button configurations, making it easy to learn how to operate. It shows hours, minutes, seconds, date, stopwatch, count-down, alarm, second time setting, etc.: a good variety of settings. It appears to be durable, though there is very little metal on the silver part of the face. The plastic texture is soft. I wear it very tightly for running and the gym and it is still more comfortable than my dress watch. I have not tested it in water. It is easy to read with and without the back-light.   This watch came exactly as described and was just what I was looking for. The instructions make it easy to program all the settings. I like the blue illumination for when it is dark, the two time settings, date display(although it doesnt show the month), and second timer.   I am the type that has not had a watch for years; essentially since I started carrying around a cell phone that could tell me that time without worrying about carrying around another thing. I don't like going to the effort of carrying around something I'm not really going to use. However, I am now in nursing school, and will forever on need a watch with a second hand to take pulse and respiration rates. This made me sad.   My New Forever Watch

  I'm far-sighted and I need to remove my glasses to see up close. With a typical digital watch checking the time was a two handed maneuver. This watch is EZ to read on the fly, with a big face and bold numbers. And lemme tell you about the backlight! Bright as heck, you could use it to flag down a jumbo jet (almost). I appreciate that it's thin, and most of the face is used for the watch, not for some slidey compass gizmo that makes you look like Chuck Yeager or Indiana Jones. Loud ticking? BFD. It's a watch. If it keeps you up at night you have bigger problems than a loud watch. On the nightstand it's gonna be loud, so put it on top of something soft, you'll be surprised at the difference. Thank me later.The thing about analog: I'm not a runner or an aviator, so I don't need precision chronometrics. If I really need an alarm, I use my phone.   This is the 4th Timex I have purchased for my 11 yr. old and the first one that has lasted more than a week. The band is the durable sport strap which has held up beautifully.   There's a Reason

  There's a reason why the Ironman collection is going strong after so many years, these are simply great watches for a more than reasonable price. When the band broke on my previous Ironman, it had an integrated band on it so it could not be replaced without sending it back to Timex, I made the mistake of trying a cheap Casio and when it arrived I knew immediately it had to be returned. In its place I ordered this Timex and was pleased to find exactly what I had come to expect, a very easy to use interface, clear and easy to read display, bright illumination courtesy of the Indiglo feature and weekend only alarm functionality.This is an easy watch to like, its built to take abuse while still looking good; its low profile so that it won't bulge under a shirt cuff, something that bugs me about my Casio G-shock and it looks good doing what its meant to do, tell me clearly what time it is.   Good on looks, but doesn't work as described

  Perhaps my expectations were too high for this product. It sounded like a great watch for an outdoor enthusiast.First, I found it to be overly heavy for the size of the watch. If not worn tightly it wants to fall around your wrist.My biggest beef with this product is that the Temperature sensor is influenced by your body heat. Mine reads 80* consistently when worn regardless of temperature. The watch must be removed and let to rest for 5 mins before it will read the real temperature. Timex does not mention this in their pre sale literature.The compass - ditto. Take it off and set it down flat for it to work accurately.   I received this watch as a Christmas gift this year. The watch is robust a feels great. The band is made of some type of cheap-feeling, but comfortable, rubber compound. It's a bit odd paying this much for a watch and receiving what feels like a cheap band. That said, it does the job and I'm not certain which alternative I would prefer.The watch looks fantastic. Everyone that sees it comments about how good it looked. One friend said, "This is a Timex? I had no idea they made such nice watches."   Nice watch. I brought this watch a few days ago after returning another Timex watch. The piece itself has a nice weight to it ( i wish it was a little more heavy. I like to feel a watch on my arm). The silicone strap is very comfortable, and the functions of the watch are good.   This watch was pictured in a men's magazine with all things red(shoes, etc) and it stood out in the group. Android has a number of unusually styled watches and I am hoping my son will like this one as much as I do. As it is a gift, I am not sure of its wear and tear, but it is striking in its appearance. The dial may be difficult to see in low light or at odd angles. The airplane on the "radar" feature is actually part of the hour hand in the smaller face, the light moving around with the seconds which is fun. It seems like a great casual watch. 4/5 V.   I am a triathlete and wear a watch every day. I typically have worn a Timex Ironman watch for the past 15 years, but was going through the Timex Women's T59201 Ironman 50-Lap Watch too frequently. Because of my small wrist, the face of the T5K026 would pop out eventually and the watch would just become non functional.   Classic Timex with a Sleek and Sporty Look . . . Easy to read face with time, day of week, month and day. Also seconds. Indiglo light. Comfortable band. Easy to read face with time, day of week, month and day. Also seconds. Indiglo light. Comfortable band. Reasonable size for a sports watch - not too big or too small for a women's wrist. Sporty but stylish enough to be worn with casual wear and can get away with wearing for office or dinner. Not bad looking for a digital watch. Since it has a white band, may be suitable for those in the healthcare profession. Overall a very good value. I may end up purchasing the version with the black band as well.
