    Nice Item

    I bought this chain for use with for a steampunk costume and it is ideal. The chain has a claw clasp at one end and a large ring clasp on the other. Attach the compass/watch using the clasp and attach the ring to a button and away you go.I wouldn't put an expensive watch on the and of this chain. The chain itself is sturdy enough, but the claw clasp is not substantial enough for me for a heavy antique watch.     it didnt make the voyage

    i received 'the masters watch' on time [from over-seas], however the watch itself did not work when i opened the package. also the watch's photo on the site is slightly misleading. i was expecting a prop quality item [for 90 dollars it ought too be], and it was a bit more "toy like" and seemed cheaply made [hence the clock hands not working]...     Don't expect it to work.

    It is a bit smaller than you think from the picture. However as another poster pointed out the actual watch function fails to work.     It's more toy than pocket watch

    I bought this with hopes of adding a bit of scifi flair to my work suits, and in that sense the fob watch has done it's job. As a pocket watch, though, it's pretty disappointing. I spend more time setting and resetting the watch than I do using it to tell the time. Also, the outer cover looks a little cheap; the metal has a strangely plastic look to it. I would probably get it antiqued or something if the inner workings were more reliable, but as it is, I'll just continue using it as a prop. 2/5 Brian G.
