  Cheap, but works perfectly.

  I got this to keep my Rolex wound when I went on vacation. I have a knock-around watch I use when I am out of the country and I know it is bad to let a self-winding watch stop as the oil pools and other bad things can happen.I was a little concerned because it was so cheap, but when I got it and tried it out it was perfect. They do recommend getting a power timer and having it only run 4 hours a day to keep it from overwinding . . . since one of those outlet times are less than $5, not a big deal. To get one that was completely automatic would have cost 3 times what this one does.It is completely silent, so you could have it in your bedroom. It only goes one direction, either clock-wise or counter. I consulted with my Rolex expert and he said either would work . . . also said that it was impossible to overwind any Rolex made after 1972 as they put in a safety system that stops it from winding more than the spring can take.This is a good buy. 5/5 R.   There are probably better watch winders on the market

  I needed a single automatic watch winder and didn't want to spend a lot. This fit the bill in that regard. However, it's performance is inconsistent. I have to fiddle with the plug every time I put the watch in it to make sure it runs. If I don't, there's a good chance it's not going to work right.   This is a great knife

  I purchased 3 of these (not on Amazon, but Amazon has a better price), and love them. I use a utility knife a lot, and these are ingenious. Cartridge pops in the bottom like an ammo clip in a pistol, and when blade is dull you can either pull it out and flip it over to the un-used side, or leave it out and retract the knife all the way and it grabs a new one out of the cartridge. Much better than the break-away blades that break-away when they aren't supposed to, and also better than taking apart your stanley knife and flipping or replacing the blade. Blades are titanium so stay sharp longer too.   Best utility knife I've used

  Excellent concept, good quality!

  I give this knife 4.5 out of 5 stars. It's nice and heavy. It doesn't feel like it's going to snap with excessive pressure or shatter from a 20-foot fall. The SpeedPak design is a fantastic idea and makes this knife one versatile little workhorse. I haven't used any other blades than the included titanium ones, but if they're just as good the titanium ones, they'll be excellent. The only reason I didn't give 5 out of 5 is the cartridge inset/remove process isn't very smooth and the retracting tab at the top needs to be in EXACTLY the right position for the cartridge to come in or go out.   Fascinating, but flawed

  Yes, there are 3,261 photos of Rolex watches, of all types, through the decades, and they are of consistently good quality (albeit small). But this book is rather poorly organized, edited, and proofread, so it will prove to be perhaps more frustrating than rewarding. Buy for the pictures and overview of Rolex history (and to see those beautiful, rare dials), and not for the detailed information about the models (which is often incorrect). 3/5 Adam M.   Well here is yet another Rolex book. This one is unfortunately error prone despite the minimal text.Model numbers are transposed in some places and can mislead a person new to Rolex watches.The author makes sweeping statements that are incorrect. E.G. In the first section under GMT II he states that this model was discontinued in 2000. Sorry that I have to disagree as I have a late Z series of this same model (2007)- in fact the Z is the last of the series and sometimes called the STICKS dial.The arrangement of the chapters leaves much to be desired. The same topic comes up again in another part of the book and reason is unclear, perhaps this adds more content?The saving grace of this book is that it has an immense collection of photos of Rolex watches. Many of which are not in any other book.   Nice design for a watch at this price, but the movement is junk

  It's a great watch for the price. I think I paid $130 for it. Sure, the swiss 25 jewel movement version is nicer, but I thought I'd try the lower-end 21 jewel. It runs great, keeps good time, and is probably one of the best watches you can get for the money. High quality work, very close in look/feel/weight to a R*lex. We'll have to see how the gold plating wears over time, but other than that, it's a great watch.EDIT: Had to change my review, the movement has been giving me problems, first I couldn't quick-set the date, now the hands jump when trying to set the time, and the second hand stops on me even when it's running.The case, the band, everything else is top notch for a $150 watch, but the cheap automatic movement really ruins it. In my opinion, get the one with the 25jewel swiss movement, and pay the extra $100. I have to send mine back for a warranty repair, and wish I would have bought the other one first. 4/5 S.   Love the watch, not the performance

  I have owned two of this style Invicta Watch, and although I love the style and appearance, both have had problems. I thought the first was just a lemon, and although the second is better, both have trouble when you take them off, sometimes just long enough to change clothes or take a shower. Both have stopped working even when I keep them on over night. One vendor recommended winding the stem before putting them on each day, but all other automatic watches have had enough charge to keep on ticking.   Simply the best show on Television

  This is the only show I watch regularly because I learn about collectible items, about the pawn business, and negotiating. It is set in Las Vegas and is truly watchable and unique. The show is corny and unintentionally funny but the episodes are well constructed and edited which keeps your interest and the characters are genuine.Rick Harrison is the main character of the show. He is a competent and likable guy who laughs at his own jokes. He has the most screen time each show. Often people have items that he does not know the value of, and they have to call an expert in to appraise it. Rick has a bunch of experts who probably wish they never met him because he constantly calls them, but that is what makes the show interesting. The funniest thing is that the expert then appraises the item right in front of the seller. Rick's negotiation style is to listen to what the customer wants and then counter with 40% of whatever they want.   Extremely Funny and very educational AAAAAAAAAAAA++++++++++++

  I just love this series about a Pawn Shop in Las Vegas! It is the American version of those stuffy BBC Antique road shows but is a whole lot funnier and just as educational. The "Old Man" is just outroariously funny as one Crusty Old Dude, his son is a font of information and Hoss is a barrel of frustration dealing with those two handfuls. I won't even go on about Chumlee as comic relief. As they would say The History Channel hit one out of the ball park with this one! I just hope that this series continues for a good long time!   Well, my camera works great! :-)Before I started, I decided to quickly read the owner's manual, as I wanted to make sure that I could get some immediate, good results before I left on my vacation to Canada! (I didn't want to leave with my new toy, not knowing how to use it. <grin>)Over the past several weeks:- I've snapped sunrises, sunset photos, both in low-light condition and the quality has been great! Nothing to complain about. It's just a simple, point 'n shoot camera that works well!- During my trip, I took over 300 photos. Not one of them came out blurry, even through some of them (like the picture of the sheep -- see the photo gallery) were taken in a hurry from a slow moving vehicle. I had one chance, and only a couple of seconds to snap the picture -- and I think it came out well!- This camera captures the vivid colors in the photo.   The Little Point-and-Shoot That Tried To Be Different (Not In a Good Way)

  I was originally attracted to the FE-280 because it was A) an Olympus (I've had great success with Olympus digicams before) B) it was small so I could take it anywhere and C) because I tried it in store, and the macro mode was amazing (hard to find on ultra-compacts). I bought it as a supplement to my excellent Olympus C-765, which although is old, still works great. It just was too bulky to take to parties and such. That being said that main purpose of this camera was to take pictures of friends and family and the occasional snapshot of a nice flower or scene along the waY. Considering that this was a point-and-shoot, I expected it to take pictures of people at parties with the flash with minimal problems, and bought it because it could take "that" shot of the flower next to the road on the way to the party. Well I took it to my first party last night, and boy was I disappointed.   Great camera

  I just bought an FE-280 to replace another FE-280 that I've been using in Iraq for a very long time. Because I've had so much success with my previous camera, it was an easy decision to replace it with a new one. The only reason my old camera failed was because I use it every day in an incedibly dusty environment, and it finally just choked on dust.This camera has served me very well over the past year, and the only complaint that I can think of is that the power button is far to close to the shutter button. I use my camera often at night and it's very easy to press the wrong button, turn off the camera, and miss the shot...and we don't get alot of chances at a second attmept at a shot here in Iraq.This is a great camera.
