Good upgrade for an older favorite sport watch

The watchband on my had become tattered, so it was time to upgrade it or get rid of the watch. But why trash a perfectly good timepiece that had proven itself to be so reliable since I had purchased it new here back in 2008? As they say, "It takes a licking and keeps on ticking."Started searching for a decent 20mm sports watchband that was reasonably priced and not designed to look on my watch, as are some of them. Maybe I'm too conservative, but there were that just weren't my style. Contemplated a... 5/5 John Williamson "JargonTalk" (Bucks County, PA USA) - See all my reviews, January 10, 2012

    Allergenic

I've never been allergic to anything before and I consider myself fairly lucky in that regard - but low and behold I put this band on and got a rash on my wrist. Not sure what it is made of.The other annoying part even if I wasn't allergic to it is that the dye rubs off on your wrist. Before I got the rash I had this tannish dye mark leftover when I took the band off. That's annoying.Wouldn't recommend it to others. 1/5 ftts - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Not great for smaller wrists

I am a woman who likes a large dial, more rugged man's style watch. This band is not great for a smaller wrist. The velcro at the end of the strap does not hold tight to the band, and it catches on the cuffs of sweaters and fleeces, making them pill. The issue is exacerbated by the wideness of the velcro bit - it doesn't taper and is not rounded, so it catches easily. My husband (he's 6' 2" but not heavy) found a similar issue when he tried it. If your wrist has a larger circumference, the problem might not be as noticeable.Otherwise it was very easy to put on; I feared a lot of fiddling with the spring bars, but they were a cinch to manipulate. 2/5 Adriano's Mom "adrianob7" (New England) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) great band

I love this strap because its quick on, quick off . I normally buy it in the store, but if its made by timex, its the right one. You get what you pay for. I bought 2 of these to replace the fans that came in my case. I am very happy with these so far. They are very quiet and move plenty of air.My case temp hit about 40c tops with the fans set at the lowest speed setting in the BIOS.I have 2 Radeon 4770 cards running in crossfire mode, as well as having my system overclocked. 5/5 J. Cooler Master Quality

When you buy a cooler master product you know you can't go wrong. I bought one of the 120mm green led fans plus one with red leds and another one with blue leds. They work like a charm. Quiet and reliable. I'm very happy with them and I'd recommend them to anyone. 5/5 J. Giussi (Miami, Florida USA) - See all my reviews, October 8, 2009

Works great in my entertainment center.

Recently the 360 in our entertainment center over heated. The door was open but the building heat in the area was enough to shut down the system with 2 red rings. I bought this and wired it to an old router power converter. That is plugged into my reciever and when you turn it on the fan comes up. The fan is screwed to the back of the entertainment center that I cut a hole in. This one fan is more than enough to cool the receiver, 360, wii, ps3, and cable box. Not that all of them are running at once but it works great. It even gives a blue glow from behind everything that looks better than I thought it would. This fan isn't as bright as most with clear holders surrounding the blades. Great fan over all. Runs very quiet and moves a ton of air. 5/5 J. Very solid performer; shows the potential of M4/3

I recently purchased an E-P2 as a portable option to complement my DSLR setup. I've been very happy with its performance in most respects, however it has no flash and the kit lens is slow; this means that indoor usage results in painfully high ISO and noise that is impossible to clean. That lead me to purchase this lens, which is the fastest thing going for M4/3 currently.First off, this thing is wonderfully compact. Much thinner than the M.Zuiko 14-42mm kit lens, although a bit bigger in diameter, and it makes the E-P2 even more low profile when it's mounted. It balances well on the E-P2 and it looks right at home to me, even though it lacks the signature PEN silver accents. It has a massive manual focus ring which is a pleasure to use (once you get the hang of the micromotor manual focus mechanism, which it shares with the 14-42).Unlike the newer, smaller... 4/5 Jeremy Thornhill - See all my reviews, May 6, 2010

E-P1 owners, your dream lens has arrived - UPDATED

If you own an E-P1, you absolutely owe it to yourself to get this lens right now. I used to own the 17mm and loved its size, but found the image quality lacking. There are plenty of detailed reviews of this 20mm lens out there so I'll spare the tech details.I've had this for a little over a week and the performance is just amazing. Auto focus speed is very good, not super speedy, but definitely not slow. Images look sharp even wide open with lovely bokeh. It's not quite as nice as the Panasonic/Leica 25mm 1.4 for 4/3, but it is half the price and 1/4 of the size.I have some good glass like the Olympus 50mm f2 and Olympus 14-52 mark II 2.8-3.5 via the adapter, but those will probably stay on my E-620 since this Panasonic 20mm fits the E-P1 like a glove. It's amazing how this lens makes the E-P1 come alive like no other lens I've used on it before.UPDATE 7/12/2010It's getting close to one year of full use and this lens is still... 5/5 Wat (SF, CA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Great for narrow depth-of-field effect in a compact set

I originally bought the Panasonic Lumix GF1 with the 14-45mm kit lens, and then bought this 20mm pancake. The pancake turns the GF1 into a really compact set, that I enjoy taking together anywhere. I keep the 20mm lens in the camera most of the times, and only when I know I'll need some telephoto I replace it by the 14-45mm lens.I owned previously only point-and-shoot and superzooms, so I wanted to try some DSLR, but I was afraid I wouldn't take together because of the bulk. With the GF1 + this pancake lens I have a small camera that I don't mind carrying and that takes DSLR-quality photos. It lacks OIS, but I don't really feel the need as this is a very fast lens. With the f/1.7 aperture, you can also create nice narrow depth-of-field effects, which are impossible on point-and-shoot cameras.I just wanted it be a bit wider... notice that this pancake is actually a 40mm in a 35-mm equivalent focal length. Nice band

Had an old watch that I used for camping and the leather band broke. Replaced using this band - and while the band is great, it makes the watch itself look old. Installation was a little tricky, there is an elastic strip about two inches long attached to the band - so you attach the watch pins (2 new ones that it came with the band) by passing the pin under the elastic while the watch is sitting on the elastic. This keeps the watch itself off your skin (the band is the only thing you are in contact with) - which should protect the pins and the watch lugs from body salts and extend the life of the pins and watch lugs. 4/5 medmgr (Katy, TX) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Absolute TRASH! Run away, Run FAR away!

The band is too short (8") and is not long enough to fit my wrist (8.5"),and it says "LONG".But that's okay, the spring bars included do not fit either, being 13mm minimum OAL, and the opening is 17mm min. If you carefully inserted the pins, they would rest inside the watch band opening of the case, and fail to latch into the opening.Useless. There is a second layer of the watch band, sewn to the band at the end of the velcro, to retain the watch, without contact between the watch and your wrist. If the watch band fit my wrist, and the spring bars fit my watch, the opening to fit my watch is insufficient (4 cm, max CTC between rows of stitching). My watch is 4.5cm between the spring bars. IF the spring bars fit, the watch band MIGHT be long enough, its after all, elastic, but I'll never know. Too little, too short, too late.So the watch band is too short, the spring bars are too short, and the space for the watch is not sufficient, 0 for... 1/5 Otto Cilindri "V8" (Hill Country, Edwards Plateau, Texas) - See all my reviews This review is from: Voguestrap TX977761L Allstrap 16-20mm Black Long-Length Fits Fast-Wrap-Expedition Watchband (Watch) The band is too short (8") and is not long enough to fit my wrist (8.5"),and it says "LONG".But that's okay, the spring bars included do not fit either, being 13mm minimum OAL, and the opening is 17mm min. Monster Sized Die

I got this die as a makeshift random number generator/card protector for poker games to randomize my play and it has served me well. The biggest surprise to me about this product was how big it is. 55mm translate into a large handfull of a die. And the die is built like a tank. Sloppy painting, sticky label

I love the size of this die, but I am a little disappointed that it arrived with a label stuck on with some kind of +4 magical glue. I had to use chemicals to get the label and the glue remnants off. In addition, some of the number painting is a little sloppy.I plan to use this die, when possible, to roll for damage. excellent bb's

so far the bb's are really smooth and work great in my echo 1 g36, I'm comparing them to some lower grade bb's that I bought from the local sporting goods store. These were cheaper and a way better quality than theirs. The ones from the store had molding marks from when they molded the bb's which caused the gun to jam. 5/5 Shannon L. I purchased the Lawn Hog 12amp 19" from Amazon.com in April/2005. I have a large yard area. My front and back yards combined equal, at least, approximately 8,000sq. ft.Over the years, I have had numerous different gas mowers. great alternative to gas mowers. lot of plusses

We just moved from a condo to a house which has around 7000+ sqft lawn in the front and around 1500+ sqft lawn at the back. Being new to this I did a lot more research before buying a lawn mower. Our first dilemma was to decide between gas and electric. Few things which came up in the comparison, general to gas and electric mower, were:- gas is more powerful than electric. It might be true but this never is a problem even if you mow once in 3-4 weeks. We are quite happy with the power.- cord management: You get used to it once you plan the layout and how you'll mow the lawn. You always start from close to the outlet and go far away from it. This way cord always follows you and you don't run the risk of running it over. Although, you should still be watchful of it.- maintenance: Definitely less worries with electric mowers. no gas, no oils, no smell in the garage, no special handling when storing it away for the season, no servicing before the season starts... 5/5 H. After years of using my Dad's gas powered lawn mower, I am finally a home owner myself and embarking onto the wonderful world of home and yard improvement. One of the items that I needed badly was a lawnmover and after looking at all the different types and models I settled upon this one. Overall, I am pleased with my new lawnmower as it did the thing it was supposed to do with relative ease at a very affordable price. It really is a pleasure to not have to hassle with gas or to worry about whether I charged the battery. Just plug it in and go. My yard is a sufficient size to not battle the cord the whole time so I found the cord battle to be minimized with some simple mowing-route planning. The things I enjoyed most about the mower were its ability to raze through the toughest areas (it had been a while since my yard had been mowed!) and the ease with which it starts and stops. What a pleasure to be able to take a break and get a glass of iced tea without feeling guilty about... 4/5 Kirk Bentzen (La Crescenta, CA United States) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) Tiger (Panthera tigris) Computer Sleeves

Animals->TigerThe tiger (Panthera tigris ) is the largest cat species , reaching a total body length of up to 3.3 metres (11 ft) and weighing up to 306 kg (670 lb). Their most recognizable feature is a pattern of dark vertical stripes on reddish-orange fur with lighter underparts. They have exceptionally stout teeth, and their canines are the longest among living felids with a crown height of as much as 74.5 mm (2.93 in) or even 90 mm (3.5 in). In zoos, tigers have lived for 20 to 26 years, which also seems to be their longevity in the wild. They are territorial and generally solitary but social animals, often requiring large contiguous areas of habitat that support their prey requirements. This, coupled with the fact that they are indigenous to some of the more densely populated places on earth, has caused significant conflicts with humans. Tigers once ranged widely across Asia , from Turkey in the west to the eastern coast of Russia . Over the past 100 years, they have lost 93% of their historic range, and have been extirpated from southwest and central Asia, from the islands of Java and Bali , and from large areas of Southeast and Eastern Asia . Today, they range from the Siberian taiga to open grasslands and tropical mangrove swamps. The remaining six tiger subspecies have been classified as endangered by IUCN . The global population in the wild is estimated to number between 3,062 to 3,948 individuals, with most remaining populations occurring in small pockets that are isolated from each other. Major reasons for population decline include habitat destruction , habitat fragmentation and poaching . The extent of area occupied by tigers is estimated at less than 1,184,911 km2 (457,497 sq mi), a 41% decline from the area estimated in the mid-1990s. Tigers are among the most recognisable and popular of the world's charismatic megafauna . They have featured prominently in ancient mythology and folklore , and continue to be depicted in modern films and literature. Tigers appear on many flags , coats of arms , and as mascots for sporting teams. The Bengal tiger is the national animal of Bangladesh and India.Description above from the Wikipedia article Panthera tigris, licensed under CC-BY-SA full list of contributors here.
