  JUNK!!!

  I got a LG Versa cell phone and a rubberized plastic case to protect it. The case is great but very difficult to get off. I found this tool and found it to be TOTALLY WORTHLESS...TOTALLY!!! It put burr marks on the case and the case is STILL on...the tool does NOT work at all...worthless...unless you need more garbage at your house to throw away...really a bad investment...no exaggeration at all...I GAVE THIS TOOL 1 STAR ONLY BECAUSE IT MADE ME...AND THERE WAS NO -4. 1/5 D.B.   I can say this tool saved my hassel. I have two cases for two phones. The cases are so tight that it is impossible using fingers to detach it. I tried using a dime to open one of the case but unfortately made scratches to my phone with the case remained unopen. This case opening tool magically detached all of them without making any scratch.   Could use "a little" refining,but it works!

  I've just, recently, received this tool so I have only used it on 6 watch backs so far. It DOES,"work as described", no real complaints there, but I did have to take it out to my shop and file down the end of the blade, just a hair, so it will fit under the edge of the smaller watch cases. It's very well built and comfortable to use, which is important to me when it comes to working on small, intricate, pieces such as ladies watches. Being "spring loaded", you do have to be a little bit careful with it,(again, mainly on the smaller ladies watches), so when it "lets loose" and the back pops free, you don't accidentally damage the internal parts of your watch!   Here's how it works

  I bought this thinking it was just a pry bar thanks to Amazon's famous non-descript descriptions of what they sell. (I'd like to give Amazon a "zero star" for that if I could.) It is not a pry bar and it works great. You put the blade between the cover and the watch body and push the handle toward the watch (axial direction.) When you get to the end of the stroke the internal spring snaps and drives the cover off. For those of you who are familiar with spring loaded center punches it works the same way. The watch I used it on had no lip to get under for a blade type tool.   It does the job...

  This is a handy little case opener. It's easy to adjust, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. Unfortunately it won't open watches with small holes on the caseback (Omega, IWC, Breitling, etc.) because the pins are elongated, and they won't fit in the holes. It's best for opening watches that have notches around the outer edge of the caseback (Tag Heuer, some Seikos, Citizens, etc.).I'm thinking I might be able to file down the pins to make them fit into other watches.   The bottom piece is the downfall

  I've bought 2 of these cases and both times I had the same experience. I LOVED it at first and so did the people that needed their bottles opened, but afater a month the botom half of the phone case started slipping off more and more. After sliding the top and bottom pieces on and off a few times the thing became the prom queen after the prom, never tight again. After losing the bottom piece the first time, I deceided to get it again thinking maybe I had a faulty case. If you are a 'phone case collector/changer' and like to put new one ones on for different occasions, I can see this being a good buy.The bottle opener works like a charm. People love it.   Opener is awesome! But bottom piece fails

  You will definitely have the most unique bottle opener, that actually works really well, but after having this case for 2 months now I already need a new one. The bottom piece slides into the bigger top section, and now its like throwing a hot dog down a hallway, it just doesn't fit.   Plastic tools work, but wear out drastically after first use, the other tools the mini philips scre driver did not work at all.   Did not do the job

  I have watches with no notch in the back to enable a small screwdriver to be inserted to pry off the back to change the battery. I thought I was going to have to throw them away. I was very frustrated. I was hoping this product would be thin enough to fit between the back and the watch case. It was not. In fact, a number of my small screwdrivers were much thinner. It didn't work at all. However, I also ordered the Adjustable Snappy Case Opener advertised on Amazon. It worked beautifully!   The wooden box arrived broken internally, as well as the wood being badly warped. The different collets were all rusted. The whole think was obviously exposed to very high levels of humidity/moisture. There were absolutely no instructions or diagrams to illustrate how it worked. I never did figure out how you were supposed to safely hold the case when unscrewing the back. I would NEVER use something this low in quality to open a real Rolex back. Shoot, I don't even think I'd want to use it on a working fake Rolex. Don't let the price fool you.   Very good tool for the money

  Very sturdy and well finished. Adjusting knobs are turning smoothly. The tool comes with 5 sets of different shapes with 3 pins each. The pins are screwed into the holders and therefore very stable. The max. opening between the 2 horizontal pins is 33 mm (1 and 1/4 in.) and the max. distance between a pin from the horizontal part and the one from the vertical part of the tool is 36 mm (1 and 7/16 in.) which makes it suitable for large diameter cases.   After going in some stores here on Long Island and finding out how much they wanted to change a battery, I had enough! My Dad was a jeweler and I had watched him remove the backside of these cases for years. As simple as taking a cap off a water bottle. So I made my purchase, here on Amazon at bought the JAXA watch case back opener.Right out of the box, with with no exchange of pin heads, I changed both batteries on 2 of my Tag Heuer watches in less than 5 minutes.For the price of the tool and both batteries, I saved $[...] bucks ! Now, going forward, I will only need to buy batteries(which I also purchase on Amazon)I do have several other watches...Why did I get this tool before?..   Worked Great on my Invicta Men's Dive Watch

  Based on the pictures, these watch openers all looked very similar. This one seemed priced right compared to very similar looking openers. Mine did not arrive covered in oil. The four small screws and nuts holding the body together were a bit loose, but were easy to tighten with just my fingers. The additional tips are very secure in the box as the molded tray is a nice reasonably thick plastic. I was a bit concerned with other reviewers saying these openers may not be big enough for large men's watches, but the measurements given in other reviews indicated that the opener was easily big enough for my 40mm case since the opening notches on the case back are closer together than the outside diameter of the case. It took me more time to switch out the tips to the appropriate set than it did for me to loosen the case back. Worked like a charm.
